How disappointing....
A month ago I bought my first VS (Victoria's Secret) bra. I was really excited. Not that the fact I'm above legal drinking age and JUST now getting one of those highly priced brazers. (did I spell that right?) But now that I can finally see what all the "who ha" was about. I have to say, I'm not too impressed and here's why.
I finally (after 3 years of waiting) was approved for my VS angel card! I couldn't wait to see what kind of stuff I can get with this pretty pink card that had "angel" in silver cursive writing across the front. I went to one of the big VS locations and looked around. I had just received a coupon in the mail for a free pair of cotton panties and $10 off any bra. (not on sale of course) Well...I found that new biofit one and the one you can wear 7 different ways, which really it's 5. But hey, whatever sales the product! (the strapless way is one of the most uncomfortable ways there is!) Makes wonder why I bought the darn thing in the first place. Ugh...Anywho!
The lady told me that most women my size LOVE this bra. So, I said I'll try it. $38 later (this is with the $10 off) I was ready for a test drive. I got to try it on in the store, which I didn't know you could do. One thing, I had to buy a size larger than what I usually wear. (I see why all the busty women hate VS) The colors it came in are pretty bland and basic. (black, white, beige...etc) Oh well. After wearing this bra at least 7 times, I realized bras are like food. Yes, Food! The more expensive the food is, the less tasty it is. Though it looks better, you're better off getting a filet-o-fish than a filet minion (spelling again) The best fitting bra I have came from Target. That goes for panties too! Save your money!
Still love their fragrances, though. Which I buy on sale on those great semi-annual sales. Ha!
Til next time!
